England spinner Monty Panesar has been included in the Northants Steelbacks squad to face Notts Outlaws in this afternoon’s Friends Provident Trophy fixture at Trent Bridge.

The two sides are tied at the top of the Midlands Division of the competition and Notts Director of Cricket Mick Newell has recalled Darren Pattinson and one day specialist Gareth Clough to the bowling attack with Stuart Broad and Ryan Sidebottom are unavailable.
