Notts Outlaws supporters will get a first-hand look at the extensive development work on-going at Trent Bridge when the Friends Provident Trophy fixture against Northants Steelbacks gets underway on Sunday.

Although the new stand will not be open until the Third npower Test against New Zealand gets underway in June, supporters will have full use of a new lower tier in the Fox Road stand.

Stewards will be on hand to direct supporters as they move around the ground but with builders still on-site, it is particularly important that supporters do not attempt to enter the new stand or the William Clark stand.

The Trent Bridge Inn Gate and Dixon Gate will be closed but a screened walkway will allow spectators to visit the club shop and the ladies toilet and baby changing facility behind the William Clark stand.

With regard to the Radcliffe Road Stand, the west gate will be open to allow spectators to move from the front of the Radcliffe Road Lower West through to the rear concourse.

Access between the Radcliffe Road end and Pavilion end is through the Fox Road stand via the concourse between the two tiers.

Disabled seating area has been moved from the Fox Road stand and in addition to disabled seating in the Radcliffe Road and Hound Road stands, a balcony in the new stand with wheelchair access will be opened later in the season.

Nottinghamshire CCC Chief Executive Derek Brewer said: “We always expected the new stand to be in use for the first time at the Test Match on June 5th and I am very pleased to report that the redevelopment work is not only on time but within budget.

“After the Test Match, the builders will return to complete the internal office block layout, again, in line with our original plans.”

Tickets for Sunday’s match cost £13 for adults and £7 for under 16’s, senior citizens and students with a valid NUS card.
