Trent Bridge will host the third LGBTQ+ Inclusion in Cricket conference on Friday 17 May (10am – 4pm), with free tickets available for non-cricket employees (£15 for cricket employees).

Tickets must be claimed or purchased in advance, and can be secured here...

The event, which will take place on the first day of Nottinghamshire’s home Vitality County Championship clash against Hampshire, will seek to celebrate the work being done at professional and recreational level to ensure the game is inclusive of the LGBTQ+ community.

Organised by Out4Cricket, the conference arrives at Trent Bridge having been held at Lord’s and Edgbaston in previous summers.

The timetable of events is set to feature guest speakers and case studies, along with opportunities to discuss plans and actions to take in 2024 and beyond.

“While we know that Trent Bridge is a venue for everyone, we’re keen to ensure that we demonstrate that through our actions,” said Head of Community and Development Mandy Wright.

“The hosting of this conference is part of our ongoing commitment to providing a warm welcome for all – whatever their faith, background or sexual orientation.

“Having hosted Eid prayers on the pitch for the first time a few weeks ago, we look forward to providing this opportunity for us all to learn more about ensuring our sport is inclusive to the LGBTQ+ community.”

Last summer, Nottinghamshire supported the launch of the OUTlaws LGBTQ+ and allies supporters’ group, which aims to provide reassurance to the LGBTQ+ community that Trent Bridge is a safe space for all.

The club has also been a regular fixture at Nottinghamshire Pride, and has supported the Rainbow Laces campaign alongside other First-Class Counties.
