Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell has offered new contracts to young seam trio Luke Fletcher, Mark Footitt and Andy Carter.
Following the release of AJ Harris and Gareth Clough, Newell is keen to develop young talent at Trent Bridge and is hopeful that the players will agree terms.
Spinner Rob Ferley has also been offered an extended deal at Trent Bridge.
"Those four have got the offers from me and they're chewing them over," said Newell.
"With Fletcher, Footitt and Carter, we need to generate a new influx of quick bowlers behind our current first-team bowlers, so it's important that we work with them.
"Rob Ferley could have an increasingly important role given Samit Patel's international call-up."
