Nottinghamshire all-rounder Graeme Swann has been penalised by the ECB for showing dissent at an umpire's decision.

Swann was aggrieved after being given out lbw to end Nottinghamshire's second innings in the LV= County Championship defeat to Durham.

Three penalty points have been placed on Swann's record with an automtaic suspension to be imposed if he accumulates nine or more within a two year period.

Swann is expected to be part of the Notts Outlaws team to face Northants Steelbacks on Sunday.
