Former Notts Outlaws T20 captain Adam Voges has agreed a deal with Middlesex.

The Australian batsman has committed to the county for the duration of the Friends Life t20 competition, bringing to an end a long association with Nottinghamshire who elected to sign Ed Cowan as their primary overseas player for 2013.

"Adam has an excellent track record in all forms of the game but particularly in T20 cricket," said Middlesex Director of Cricket Angus Fraser.

"His experience will be invaluable and everyone I have spoken to tells me he is a top bloke."

Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell remains keen to secure a second overseas playerto deputise during Cowan's international stints.
