Nottinghamshire’s Luke Fletcher and Sam Wood made time in their busy training schedule to visit the Queen’s Medical Centre children’s wards to distribute presents donated by Official Team Sponsors BDO.
Fletcher and Wood spent an afternoon with patients of all ages, who received toys, match tickets and memorabilia.
“It’s a very humbling experience to spend time with children who will be spending Christmas on a hospital ward,” said Fletcher.
“Family is particularly important at this time of the year, and those here are very well supported by excellent staff here.
“We wish them all the best in their recovery, and hope to see them coming to see us at Trent Bridge next summer.”
