Overseas signing Ed Cowan will make his first appearance for Nottinghamshire in a two-day friendly at Derbyshire's County Ground (play starts 11am Sunday).
The Australian batsman will be joined in the side by returning all-rounder Samit Patel and influential New Zealander Andre Adams.
The match will serve as Nottinghamshire's final tune-up before the LV= County Championship campaign begins against Middlesex at Trent Bridge on Wednesday.
Admission at the County Ground is free for all supporters.
