Notts piled on the runs on the last morning of the game with Jake Ball and Matthew Cross adding 94 in in just 14 overs to establish a first innings lead of 164.

Ball hit 44 in boundaries and was well supported by young wicket keeper Matthew Cross who was undefeated with 57 when the final wicket fell.

Darren Pattinson took the the first four wickets as Worcester slipped to 78-4. However, first innings centurion Neil Pinner stuck around for a 74 ball 25 and Brett D'Oliveira scored his third half century of the week with an undefeated 62 putting on 66 with Blofield (25) for the seventh wicket.

The final hour began with the visitors 51 in the lead but after one over, the sides shook hands on a draw.
