Scott Elstone will return to the Notts Outlaws team to face Gloucestershire Gladiators at Cheltenham in place of Adam Voges who has been given time to rest a sore elbow.
Notts are third in Group C of the competition but face a struggle to qualify given that leaders Somerset have a four point cushion with a game in hand.
Alex Hales and Ali Brown will open the batting for Notts with Riki Wessels and Samit Patel completing the top four.
Paul Franks and Ben Phillips return to the side having sat out Nottinghamshire's draw against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl.
