Visually Impaired Nottinghamshire cricketer Darren Sullivan has been added to England’s national development squad.

Darren, who plays for Nottinghamshire Visually Impaired Cricket Club, will join players from across the country to undergo specialist training in preparation for the coming season.

The Nottinghamshire Disability Cricket Club (NDCC) have recently begun a programme of activity aimed at encouraging youngsters with a physical or learning impairment to get involved in cricket.

Ongoing work with Thurgaton Cricket Club and the NRSB Nottinghamshire Knights Visually Impaired cricket team has culminated in regular pre season training sessions taking place at Trent Bridge.

The sessions at Mansfield Hosiery Mills CC are scheduled to take place on the 15th, 29th March, 12, 26th April and the 10th and 24th May.
