Composed half centuries from Ali Brown and Steven Mullaney went unrewarded as Notts Outlaws slipped to a six wicket defeat at the hands of Leicestershire Foxes at Trent Bridge.

Notts slipped to 65-5 before Brown and Mullaney steadied the ship but a patient reply earned victory for Matthew Hoggard's side in the final over.

Brown was yorked by Hoggard and quickly followed by Mullaney who was caught at long-on.

Nottinghamshire's top order will have a second chance to impress in a day of batting against Leicestershire at Trent Bridge on Tuesday. Play starts at 11am.
