Notts are waiting on the ECB to determine when and where their Friends Provident Trophy quarter-final with Gloucestershire Gladiators will be held.

After sneaking into the knock-out stages of the competition, finishing second in Group A behind Hampshire Hawks despite a heavy defeat in the final group game, the Outlaws were committed to an away tie against one of the four group winners.

Gloucestershire’s home ground at Bristol will be in use by West Indies and England on Saturday, the day the quarter-final is due to be played, as the two international sides practice ahead of Sunday's NatWest Series One-day International.

While Gloucestershire hope to have the quarter-final rescheduled, the match could conceivably be played at another ground - or even at Trent Bridge.

Gloucestershire Chief Executive Tom Richardson told the club website: “Our preference would be to reschedule the game and play at Bristol between now and the semi-final in July, if necessary, moving a fixture to accommodate this. However, this is easier said than done and the programme is very tight.

“Our second choice would be to reschedule and play on a neutral ground again sometime before the semi-final.”

www.nottsccc.co.uk will provide more news as soon as a decision is made.
