Nottinghamshire batsman Matt Wood got his hands on some silverware on a visit to Gamston Pierrepont School this week.

The Friends Provident Trophy, currently held by Essex Eagles, was paraded by Wood and Notts mascot Nuts the Squirrel ahead of a coaching session delivered to year 6 pupils.

Notts return to competitive action when Leicestershire Foxes visit Trent Bridge in the Friends Provident Trophy on Sunday 19th April.

Ireland visit Trent Bridge on Sunday 3rd May with Family Tickets for two adults and two juniors reduced to £26.
