Nottinghamshire return to Championship action was delayed after the first day of play at Edgbaston was washed out.

The match against Warwickshire was due to start at 11am but heavy persistent rain in the West Midlands meant the pitch was waterlogged with no prospect of play.

The two sides will try again tomorrow with both teams looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season.
