Notts 514 (Hussey 232*, Read 89)
Warwickshire 207

Notts won by an innings and 151 runs

The 28-year-old demolished the Warwickshire attack in tandem with ChrisRead to set up the innings victory before dedicating his performance tothe Director of Cricket.

Said Hussey: ?I?ve been a consistent scorer this season but before this game I?d hit eight half-centuries and only one hundred.

?Mick Newell had a chat with me before the game and asked me to startconverting my good starts into three figures. Once I got to 50 I wasabsolutely determined to do that and also make it a really big score.

?I stuck to my game plan and showed a bit of patience before going for my shots, which was very pleasing.?

Our seamers destroyed the Warwickshire batting line-up before tea onday one with some excellent swing bowling, with Ryan Sidebottom and AJHarris both taking four wickets each.

And although the visitors had us in trouble at 75-4, Hussey and Read absorbed pressure before counter-attacking on day two.

Read fell for 89 but Hussey kept on going and eventually pushed all thevisiting fielders onto the boundary with some spectacular shots beforerunning out of partners.

We quickly finished the job before lunch on day three to go back into first place in Division One, just ahead of rivals Kent.
