Participants will have the opportunity to qualify for The NatWest Speed Stars Final at the ECB Academy at Loughborough in September. The Roadshow aims to take cricket into the community and forms part of NatWest?s celebrations of 25 years of cricket sponsorship.

Hussey will join ECB accredited coaches to demonstrate and help everyone improve their cricket skills. Activities including bowling nets will be on site plus the chance to try your skills against the World?s best on the Hawkeye virtual reality cricket game.

Lee Bailey, NatWest Sponsorship Manager commented, ?2005 is a particularly proud year for NatWest as we celebrate supporting English cricket for 25 years. NatWest is committed to investing in the community so developing grassroots cricket in this way is important to our involvement in the game.?

New for 2005, the NatWest Speed Stars competition has been extended to include over 18s for the very first time in a nationwide search to find the nations fastest bowlers. Open to everyone of all ages and abilities, NatWest Speed Stars offers the chance to test your bowling speed with the possibility of qualifying for the national NatWest Speed Stars Final.

Everyone who enters will be given the chance to record their fastest delivery and all entrants will be able to check their speed and position in the competition by visiting www.natwest.com/cricket. The four fastest bowlers from across the country in each of the four age categories (Under 12, Under 15, Under 18 and Adult) will then qualify for the Final plus a day?s coaching with an England player at the ECB Academy in Loughborough.
