Khan will face Pakistan team-mates Azhar Mahmood and Mohammad Akram in a key Championship match and hopes he can play his part to help us to victory.

The 27-year-old Pakistan vice-captain will play in five Championship matches and three totesport League fixtures before Fleming returns to Nottingham on September 9.

Khan is expected to slot straight into Fleming?s number four slot in the batting order in his first appearance in county cricket.

Jason Gallian takes over as captain for the five Championship matches during Fleming?s absence.

Chris Read has not recovered from his ankle injury and David Alleyne steps up from the Second XI for his first Championship appearance of the season.
