The 1,000 mile walk around all 18 first-class counties comes to Trent Bridge for the close of play in our Championship match with Glamorgan on its way to Lord?s for the start of the first Test between England and Australia.

Led by Lord?s Taverners President and former England captain Mike Gatting, the walk aims to raise money to regenerate cricket in state schools and provide more opportunities for young people to enjoy sport and recreation.

Former Eastenders actor and entertainer Shaun Williamson will be joining Gatting for the walk, and spaces are available for members of the public to walk the long leg of 10 miles from the Green Dragon in Oxton or the short leg from the Park and Ride site by Nottingham Racecourse.

You can join the short leg by donating ?10 for adults and just ?5 for children, while the long leg donation is ?20.
