Frizzell County Championship
July 8-11: Notts v Glamorgan
Tickets cost ?10 for adults and ?5 for concessions.

The 19-year-old left-armer is set to make his first-class debut in the Championship clash at Trent Bridge and can?t wait to get the ball in his hand.

He said: ?It?s really exciting to get a chance at first-team level. I?ve been feeling good and bowling quicker than ever. I imagine I?ll be first change but it will be great to get given the ball and to bowl.

?I?ve only played one game at Trent Bridge for the Second XI so this will be a big experience for me. Playing in front of 5,000 people at Derby in the Twenty20 was like nothing I?ve ever heard but I hope there?ll be more friendly support for me this time.?

Footitt admitted the butterflies were flying around his stomach in the Twenty20 match but is now prepared to deal with his nerves.

?In the first over I was shaking and it definitely contributed to me bowling so many wides. I was very disappointed afterwards but I think I will cope with it better this time.

?Going into the season I knew there was always going to be a chance for me to play first team cricket with fewer bowlers at the club. I just want to show I?ve got what it takes to do myself justice, take a few wickets and help the team to a win.?

Injury news:
Footitt gets the call-up from Director of Cricket Mick Newell as Ryan Sidebottom is a week away from full fitness after his side strain.

With Paul Franks not yet ready to return to bowling action, Newell opted for Footitt rather than bringing in a loan signing for one game.

Said Newell: ?We don?t have a Championship match next week and it would have been too big a gamble to bring in Ryan too soon.

?If he was to make his side strain worse he would be out for up to two months and it made more sense to let him rest and give Mark a chance. He?s shown good pace with the Seconds and has got nothing to lose.?

Skipper Stephen Fleming and all-rounder Mark Ealham also come back into the side after resting for the last two Twenty20 Cup matches.

Squad:
Bicknell, Gallian, Warren, Fleming (cap), Hussey, Read (wkt), Ealham, Swann, Smith, Harris, Footitt.
