Notts Outlaws 143-8 (Patel 32)
Leicestershire Foxes 147-5

Foxes won by five wickets

We gave the Foxes a good run for their money after posting adisappointing total but Newell said the batsmen had not done their jobsin one-day cricket again.

He said: "I have to be happy with our bowling and fielding because everyone did their jobs on that front.

"But no-one made a big score with the bat and ultimately Leicestershire had enough in reserve at the death to finish us off.

"The pitch was a little slow but the players are good enough to adjust.Hopefully it will be a different story on Friday because we turned overLancashire in the totesport League two weeks ago.

"The players need to remember what went right there, perform their roles as asked and repeat that success."

Stephen Fleming and David Hussey both made starts without going on toprovide the foundation required for the likes of Samit Patel, MarkEalham and Paul Franks to hit out at the close.

Greg Smith and Ealham kept things tight with the ball to take the gameinto the last over, but AJ Harris couldn?t stop Ottis Gibson hittingthe winning runs.
